About Orientation Team

Jackson McElman

Hello! My name is Jackson McElman, I’m going into my 4th year of Chemical engineering. I hope to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. I am one of the Co. Chairs for the first-year orientation this year where I hope to organize a great event to get everyone acclimated to UNB. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and soccer.

Ashlyn George

Hey everyone! My name is Ashlyn George, I'm going into my 4th year (2nd term) of Chemical Engineering (Ch.E.). I've hoped to pursue many things from working with the UNICEF to working in the food industry (let's see where I end up). I am one of the Co-Chairs for Orientation this year and I'm really excited to meet you all. This is my final year and I wish you all a GREAT FIRST YEAR and hope orientation sets your expectations for the years ahead! In my free time, I enjoy cooking (and eating it) and playing the violin (and napping).

What is ENGG Orientation Day?

This will be your first day entering into the 'Engineering World' where you'll learn more about the campus and meet the people who you will be seeing for the next few years. Orientation will give you an insight into the expectations of what school is like, here at UNB, and how to make the best out of your university life.
Taking notes is highly encouraged and most importantly make the best out of your day. We are excited to welcome you to our newly revamped Head Hall on our UNB Campus!
