Camilla Drost [She/They]
EUS President
Hi engineering students! My name is Camilla (Cam for short), and I am entering my fifth and (hopefully) final year of Chemical Engineering! This year, I am the UNB Engineering Undergraduate Society President, rounding off five incredible years with the university and society on a high note. I am so excited to meet all of you this year and show you everything UNB Engineering has to offer!
I am very passionate about diversity and sustainability in engineering, and I love to learn, which is something I have been lucky to have the opportunity to do lots of throughout my degree. There are so many opportunities to learn and grow, both personally and professionally, and I highly recommend getting involved with as much as possible during your time here
I absolutely love being outside (mostly swimming and spending time on the beach right now)! I also love concerts, reading, and music. I play guitar, piano, and sign, so catch me around campus at events throughout the year.
Feel free to connect with me and the team on socials, especially through our EUS Instagram and Facebook pages! You’ll be able to see all the cool events we host, initiatives we run, tutoring and support we offer, and more.
I am looking forward to another fantastic year here at UNB :)

Nichole [She/Her]
VP External
Hi everyone! My name is Nichole Baya and I am going into my fifth year of Chemical Engineering. I am so excited to be the Engineering Undergraduate Society VP External this year. I have been very involved with other societies in the past years such as the ChEUS and DWE so if you are interested in getting involved, I’d be happy to have a quick chat and help you out! I am so excited to be working with the EUS again this year as VPX and I’m really excited to represent UNBF in the regional and national level.
As VPX, I am most excited to meet and network with engineering students across the country and be the voice of UNBF. I am really excited to bring students to experience the engineering traditions across the country, and to learn about our partners ACES and CFES. I am also very excited that the biggest national conference, Canadian Engineering Leadership Conference (CELC), will be hosted by us here at UNB! Stay tuned for more conference updates this fall and I hope you could join myself and the team at a conference.
Outside of school, I enjoy doing crossfit training which I picked up again this summer, reading Stephen King books, playing volleyball, and going cross country skiing in the winter. I also enjoy baking and experimenting with new recipes!
I am really looking forward to this year. You can always connect with me through teams and email. Looking forward to seeing you on campus.

Gian Carlo [He/Him]
VP Internal
Hi everyone! I am Gian, and I am going into my third year of Chemical Engineering! I am excited to be working as the VP Internal for this school year, overseeing the yearbook, office, and our engineering merch. My main goal is to be able to help produce quality merch and expand our engineering culture through this platform, while also promoting sustainability in the products that we use.
I have been involved with the EUS since my first year at UNB, and one thing I could say for sure is that it’s prolly one of my best decision in uni yet!
Some of my hobbies include playing golf, and tennis during the summer, while ice skating in the winter. I can’t wait to work with the rest of the EUS execs and directors this year.
If you’d like to connect or if you have any questions about getting involved, don’t hesitate to send me or the other execs a message!

Nathaniel Thomas [He/Him]
VP Communications
Hey everyone, my name is Nathaniel, and I am currently going into my fourth year of Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering. I am the current VP communication for the EUS committee and cannot wait to meet you and all the other students too since this year will be a busy one! I am extremely happy to be going onto my second year of communication and I am thrilled to realize some cool ideas for you!
Before we begin the year, I would like to present a bit about myself. I am someone driven by curiosity to always learn something new to better understand how our world functions. What is always fun is to use the things I have learned and my creativity to solve problems!
Now if I could take one hobby that best describes me, I would honestly go with backpacking! I truly enjoy being connected with nature and being out in the wild to live memorable memories! I find it the best way to connect with myself!
However, once it starts to snow, you better watch out as I might zoom by you on my ski going downhill on the UNB campus so make sure to keep an eye out during wintertime when you are walking…
Otherwise, make sure to also keep an eye out on our social media since I promise you, you do not want to miss any of our events or opportunities! We have some cool cooked ideas for ya.
I am sincerely thrilled to work with the upcoming team and to realize all the wonderful projects the EUS has to offer you!
